Cappuccino set

A cappuccino cup and saucer set with a unique, distinguished and eye-catching design for coffee breaks. The idea behind this project was to create a desirable, high quality product that would reflect local craftsmanship excellence with design sensitivity. Each piece is made of hand molded porcelain in a local Montreal ceramic workshop. Urchin

This design bridges a gap between fine dining and casual situations. It is inspired by natural forms in particular by Urchins and Corals. The polymer body shells allow strong colours to be employed and resist the corrosive effects of the contents. The size is practical for domestic use whilst being ergonomically functional to hold and the assembly allows for easy batch production. It brings colour and a talking point to dinner parties where it becomes a 'table sculpture' as well as functional object. The materials and appearance make it suitable for an informal gathering of friends.

Flavoured Flints

“Flavoured flints” is a collection of differents food tools made by conglomerates of salt and sugar with added dried extracts of flavour-enhancing fruits, obtained by cryogrinding. The flints prompt consumers to season their meals using ancestral techniques : rubbing the two volumes, as big as your fist and faceted, against each other. By choosing to use differents flints, it becomes possible to combine all sorts of flavours.

I selected the material of kettle whose heat is not conducted up to the handle. To use environment-friendly one, I avoided rubber.

Attention!

Attention! cutlery set is developed via the conceptual thinking of ‘being together’ and the principle of keeping all the elements of the set together, stocking these elements and organizing them as a team when they are not in use. The cutlery set, according to the wishes of the customers can be separated and reunited easily. The main principle that the product is based on is the magnetic pull of the magnets placed in the axes of the handles of the 3D forms in a harmonious way. The set is a healtier alternative to the wide use of the nylon bag system.
